Auto Lead Capture

See which anonymous visitors are ready to buy, and turn them into leads.

Auto Lead Capture watches how anonymous visitors use your website (pages, time, scrolling, forms), scores their interest, and when a visitor identifies themselves (for example by giving their email in the chat widget) turns them into a lead with their history attached.

Available on these plans: Growth, Scale, Enterprise. In the dashboard: Auto Lead Capture.

Set up

  1. Make sure your website is on your allowed domains; the tracker is refused everywhere else.
  2. Open Auto Lead Capture, switch it on, and choose a consent mode.
  3. Copy the tracker snippet from that page and paste it on every page, just before </body>.
<script>
window.caq = window.caq || [];
window.caq.push(['init', {
  endpoint: 'http://centralai.daffodil-bd.com',
  siteId: 'YOUR_SITE_ID'
}]);
</script>
<script src="http://centralai.daffodil-bd.com/static/js/tracker.js" defer></script>

Your site id (site_…) is public, like the widget key; the tracker sends it as X-Site-Id. It never uses your external API key.

What it records

  • Page views, time on page (idle time is not counted), how far down the page the visitor scrolled, and the first time they start typing in a form (not when the first field is a password).
  • Each event carries the page path, title, referrer and UTM campaign tags.
  • Your own events: caq.push(['track', 'cta_click', 1, {label: 'Book a demo'}]).
  • At most 300 events per 60 seconds from one visitor.
ModeMeaning
implicitImplicit – Track all visitors (no explicit opt-in required)
opt_inOpt-In – Track only visitors who have granted consent
opt_outOpt-Out – Track unless visitor has explicitly denied consent

The tracker never asks for consent by itself. Your cookie banner tells it: caq.push(['consent', 'granted']) or caq.push(['consent', 'denied']). Anonymous visitor data is deleted after 90 days by default.

Identify a visitor

The chat widget identifies a visitor automatically when they give their email. Your own login or sign-up form can do the same: caq.push(['identify', {email: '[email protected]', name: 'Rahim'}]). The visitor’s history is then attached to the lead with that email (created if there is none).

The score

A score from 0 to 100, worked out by rules, not AI, when a visitor is identified. Default weights, which you can change: page view 10, dwell time 15, scroll depth 10, cta click 25, form start 20, return visit 20. Recent visitors score higher than ones last seen weeks ago. When your plan includes lead capture credits, one credit also buys an AI summary of the visitor; it is refunded if the summary fails.

Signed in? Your own keys, endpoint addresses and the full error tables are on the API reference inside your dashboard. These public pages never show anyone’s key: examples use placeholders such as YOUR_EXTERNAL_API_KEY.
